Masatake Fujita, Shihan 8th

It
is with deep regret that we can confirm that due to ill health, Fujita
Sensei, will be unable to attend Summer School. We all wish him and
his family well and hope for his speedy recovery.

Yukimitsu Kobayashi, Shihan 7th
Dan (Aikikai Foundation, Tokyo)

This year we welcome
the recently promoted Yukimitsu Kobayashi, Shihan. Sensei Kobayashi has
become a welcome and regular guest instructor at BAF Summer Schools. His
dynamic style of teaching, combined with his underlying abundance of
humour and enjoyment of life make each visit a pleasure for students old
and new. As well as teaching at Hombu, Sensei also accompanies Doshu, as
uke, on his international visits. Always ready to share good company
after a stimulating class of Aikido, Sensei is also celebrating his 8th
visit to the British Aikido Federation Summer School.

Minoru
Kanetsuka, Shihan 7th
Dan (Technical Director BAF)
The
BAF's Technical Director, Minoru Kanetsuka, Shihan, will be attending
Summer School and trying, as always, to expand and refine our knowledge
of Aikido and positive practice. Kanetsuka Sensei is dedicated to
helping all students irrespective of rank or ability. His patience and
passion are, undeniably, what drives the BAF. Through a thorough
understanding of basic techniques, Sensei strives to guide all students
to a better understanding of the true meaning of Aikido.

Matthew Holland, 6th Dan, Shihan (Scottish Aikido Federation)
Matthew Holland Sensei's unique and dynamic style is known and appreciated by
students of Aikido throughout the world. His clear demonstrations of
practical Aikido ensure his popularity as a regular Guest Instructor at
BAF Summer Schools. No BAF Summer School would be complete without him
where he demonstrates an absolute passion to help others to discover
their true potential through practice.
